aboutme

I can help you sort through confusion. I will:

  • Suggest possible areas to investigate educationally and clinically based on the problems your child is having
  • Help you understand test reports from schools or other professionals, clarifying the meanings of specific terms, discuss patterns of results that may suggest a need for further assessment, suggest issues you may want to follow up with the testing professional
  • Suggest possible accommodations to add to your child's Individualized Education Program or Section 504 plan to help your child function better in school

  • Suggest areas where you might either request that schools provide remediation or look for private remediation services
  • Explain the law as it pertains to your situation
  • Suggest referrals to other professionals such as audiologists, learning specialists, and neuropspychologists, as appropriate
  • Help you organize test results, reports, correspondence, and other records
